How to Check Minifigure Size and Accessory Fit

Understand what standard minifigure height does and does not confirm. Check actual measurements, headgear clearance and accessory connections before expanding a MOC.

Brick-built ruler, calipers and geometric blocks on a measurement planning desk

“Standard minifigure height” gives a general size description. It is not a verified measurement in centimetres and does not confirm that every accessory fits another brand's parts.

Measure the complete arrangement

For a shelf or display case, ask for the assembled height, width and depth. Specify whether the measurement should include a helmet, plume, raised weapon, display base, horse or vehicle. An assembled scene can need substantially more space than one standing figure.

Check the product's own specifications

Our ABS swordfighter, six-knight and nine-hooded-warrior Listings state standard minifigure height. Exact assembled measurements have not been supplied. Other sets may have unconfirmed material and height; do not transfer one product's specifications to another.

Ask about the connection you need

If you want to use an accessory with another figure, identify the accessory and the receiving part. Ask whether that exact connection has been tested. Visual similarity or a MOC label alone is not evidence of a verified fit.

A useful pre-purchase checklist

  • Which dimensions need to fit your display?
  • Does the measurement include headgear and the base?
  • What material has been confirmed for this product?
  • Has the specific accessory connection been checked?
  • Are photographs of the actual item available?

Use images for the right purpose

A 3D or 360 position without uploaded material cannot provide additional evidence. Ask customer support for the missing detail before buying if it is essential to your build.
