Orc Warriors & Swordfighters: Plan a Character-Led Fantasy MOC

Give six orc warriors a readable formation, then use a separately purchased swordfighter as the focal character. Includes package facts and optional scene ideas.

Brick-built two contrasting fantasy environments joined by an open winding path

How do you turn a group of orcs and one swordfighter into a story? Give the six orcs a clear formation and leave an open space for the focal character. A gate encounter, bridge approach or camp boundary works as a starting idea. The Orc Warrior set and the two swordfighters are separate Listings; this guide does not combine them into a single product package.

Know which Listing supplies which items

Listing Confirmed contents Useful role
Orc Warrior set Six figures: three green and three orange, with all pictured shields, weapons, headgear or hair, and shoulder armor Main formation
White-Haired Swordfighter One figure, toy sword, back attachment and expression head components Red-outfit focal character
Ivory Outfit Swordfighter One figure, toy sword, back attachment and expression head components Lighter-outfit focal character

ABS material and standard minifigure height are confirmed for the two swordfighters. The orc set's material and exact figure height remain unconfirmed. The swordfighters' head format and quantity of separate expression heads have not been verified. Circular head close-ups in the orc reference are detail callouts, not additional figures.

Three scenes to try

  • Gate encounter: put the orcs in two groups of three, framing an open center. Position a swordfighter in that gap, turned slightly toward the formation.
  • Bridge approach: arrange the orcs in a staggered column and leave empty space ahead. Place the focal character near one side of the route so both silhouettes remain visible.
  • Camp boundary: create a shallow arc with the six orcs. A separately purchased swordfighter can stand outside the arc as an observer or visitor.

Gates, bridges and camp terrain are optional MOC elements. A scene can also work on a simple neutral display surface with no additional construction.

Prepare a readable character arrangement

  1. Separate the three green and three orange figures. Match each figure's visible headgear or hair, shoulder armor, weapon and shield to the Listing image. Do not interpret the head-detail callouts as extra bodies.
  2. Check the fit gently. Seat armor and headgear before final positioning. Stop if a component appears damaged or requires abnormal force.
  3. Build the group first. Place the orcs without crowding their larger shields. Alternate colors for visual rhythm, or keep each color group together for a two-sided scene.
  4. Add a focal character only if you want one. Choose either swordfighter Listing according to the outfit style you prefer. Keep the long sword clear of the shields.

Choose your cast from the Fantasy Adventure collection. For another character combination, compare the ten-figure knight and dragon warrior set or the single snake-haired gorgon. These are separate products; choose the figures before planning their surroundings.
